Introduction
Welcome to the Pharmacology Department at lt. Bisahy Das Mahant Memorial Medical College, established in 2022, where we are dedicated to shape the future of pharmacology through dynamic Education & Hand on education.
Objective
We are focused on the study of drug action and the development of new therapeutic agents. Our curriculum integrates fundamental pharmacological principles with clinical applications, preparing students to understand drug interactions, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic efficacy.
Our Aim is to enhance the clinical orientation of our students by integrating practical, patient- centered experiences with foundational pharmacological education. This approach ensures that students are well-prepared to apply their knowledge effectively in real-world clinical settings.
Infrastructure
We have a Lecture Room, an Experimental Cal Lab for the Experimental Pharmacology, a Pharmacy Room for all the , a Museum to showcase the Depth of pharmacology through the forms of medicines.
Activities
Our department is committed to advancing research and promoting evidence-based practices to improve healthcare outcomes.
In order to interact more and assess the level of understanding of the students ,the department holds regular Seminars, Case Discussions and Activities.
We are trying to Incorporate more of experimental pharmacology in near future.
We are dedicated towards preparing competent Medical Graduates.
