Bio Chemistry

Introduction

Biochemistry is the study of the chemical processes in living organisms, including their structure, composition, and reactions. It's a laboratory-based science that combines biology and chemistry, and its goal is to explain all life processes at a molecular level. Biochemists study the chemical reactions that occur in cells, the molecules created by these reactions, and the chemical structures that these reactions take place on. Biochemistry relies on the fundamental principles of organic chemistry and other basic sciences.

Aim & Objectives

a)To advance our understanding of the chemical structures and processes that underpin human health and disease, revealing the underlying transformations
b)To establish various research and diagnostic laboratories to provide clinical services to patients.
c)To provide clinical services to patients.

The Central lab which help to diagnose and manage disease through the analysis of blood, urine and other body fluids.

HOD room, Associate professor room, Assistant professor room, Seminar room, Departmental library, Demonstrator room, Office room, Biochemistry laboratory.
